Personal Intensives


Enjoy short or long stays in the heart of Portland at Jane Latimer’s new urban retreat center, HeART House.


Five days of one-on-one healing work in the company of nationally recognized author and food/weight/body issues expert Jane Latimer. The Portland Personal Healing Intensive includes:

  • 20 hours of private healing sessions
  • 1 meal per day (optional)
  • Free time to explore Portland—easy access to yoga, movement, NIA, dance, and Pilates classes; massage, acupuncture, or spa treatments; theatre, world-class restaurants, and cultural activities; and walking/hiking at beautiful Tryon Creek State Park (an urban rainforest)

Optional stays in your own studio apartment on Jane’s property can be arranged at $60 per night. Ask for details.

Just 10 minutes from downtown Portland, nestled in a wooded glade, is HeArt House,  Jane Latimer’s intimate retreat center. With access to great restaurants, art galleries, theatre and an array of movement and yoga classes, as well as a beautiful State Park with miles of hiking trails, HeART House now has two studio apartments available for personal or small group spiritual healing retreats

PERSONAL INTENSIVES may also be utilized as an alternative to hospital treatment programs.  If your doctor or mental health professional okays your treatment to be outpatient or if you do not need hospitalization, Jane offers intensive work (up to eight hours a day for five to thirty days) at her home.  Her 30 years experience working with eating disorder recovery and trauma, her caring and compassionate style and her body-centered spiritually based programs enable you to enter into a safe environment in which deep work on all levels (body, mind and spirit) can occur.  (If you are interested in this option, call 503.293.8906 for details).

The STOP THE STRUGGLE—Join the FUN Program is an innovative, outrageous and FUN-filled way to freedom.  Geared to help you move past inhibitors, patterns of dissociation and shame rapidly, you will find yourself stepping into and engaging with yourself in a way that is vibrantly alive and liberating.  As stuck places are discovered, the safe environment of this workshop makes it possible to confront and release these hidden subconscious areas in an atmosphere of compassion and support with other women like yourself.
